EB2-India Priority Date : Oct 2008 Priority date curent in Jan, 2012 Applied I-485, I-131(AP) and I765(EAD) on Jan 5th, 2012 Service center: TSC Received Date: Jan 13th, 2012 Notice Date: Jan 17th, 2012 FP Notice received: Jan 26th, 2012 FP appointment: 02/14/2012 EAD/AP approval: 3/05/2012 (Spouse AP is not approved yet) MY EAD was mailed on 03/07/2012. Does anyone know reasons why the AP is not approved but EAD is ? Link to comment

Please add/ update as needed: SC- NSC PD: Nov-2008 RD:1/9/2012 ND:1/12/2012 FP Notice - 485 only: 2/10/2012 FP Sched :3/1/2012 (for Primary - completed - did not go for early walk-in - at Elizabeth, NJ) Dependent FP sched - 485 only - 3/6 - completed - at Hackensack, NJ. EAD & AP Approval SMS - both primary and wife: March-9 at 11 AM EST 485 : Not yet MS in USA more than 5 years with current employer. Called and raised SR for the FP for EAD/AP on 3/1/2012 - (not sure if needed - they may use the same prints as the one for 485) Link to comment

I see that many people here have received their FP notices within a month at the most after their receipt dates. Is this still a typical wait time? I am in the same situation , my ND at NSC is 1/27 , and there has been no action after my reciept notices ... no FP, no EAD , no AP , no nothing .. it is crazy , i am not sure what logical order do they follow. There are many approvals taken place for 485 for PDs around Nov/Dec 2008. Sadly, they don't follow PDs when dates are current for many. Not logically correct, but it is what it is. You should have taken it much quickly than waiting till end of Jan. I can understand many reasons for late filing, but could have been alarmed when dates moved to March 2008 on Nov bulletin. just my two cents... Link to comment

Clearly if we are saying it will follow the order when it got to USCIS, then my date was jan 24th, so i am assuming nobody who filed in NSC got an FP after that date isnt it. Link to comment

Hey Karthik, You can get the numbers from the USCIS Case status.Find below the the phone number for the NSC. However, I am moving to another state in 2 weeks. My apartment lease will be active for 2 more months. The apartment has a typical mail box for each unit. How are the receipt notice, finger print notice etc sent? Do they require signature confirmation? Is mail forwarding possible? Thanks Z Link to comment
