Entry with current visa ?

Hi,

I've my visa stamped until 9th March 2012. And my renewal just came in with start date on 9th March 2012. If i go to India in Jan 2012 and return back by end of Feb 2012, do i need to worry about getting the new visa stamped before entry or would it be fine to enter on current visa ?

Please let me know if you have any advise/experience about such situation.

Visa officer will cancel your old visa when you go for stamping.
