Direct Employee H1 visa 221 g piink slip at Delhi Embassy on 22nd July 2011

I am direct employee of US based Software Company(One of the largest tech company) .I went to Delhi for H1 visa renewal interview as Mumbai Consulate is currently not processing H1 visa.My interview went fine. VISA office told me that my visa is approved and told me to go to counter 30 for additional processing. At counter 30 they handed me pink slip and took my passport and I 797 doc..

Visa Interview Date; 22 July 2011

Documents Submitted by Email :24 th July 2011

Visa Status :Still Waiting

My question is how much time it generally takes to get VISA and what are chances ?

Plese let us know when you get your passport back .I am direct hire too and planning to go for stamping .

Also by any chance can you write your experience on what question were asked in interview and any documents officer asked you for ?

Same situation here. FTE and planning to visit New Delhi for renew stamping in sept end. Sachin please add to the questions asked by VO and what were the documents asked to submit two days later.

Sounds like your visa is approved...are you sure it is 221g?

Same thing happened to my on June 10th and still waiting ..

Recenlty there is a new rule passed for all the VO who will be interviewing for H1's and that is they will not get breakfast in the morning so that they are not in good mood and spit out there anger on applicants :)
