BLUE_S
Hello - This is my first post here. I was lurking here for the past couple months and finally created an account. I've read lot of posts on this topic, but did not really find a solid answer. I am a full time employee at a Financial institution and recently the dept that I work in gave us the flexibility to work remotely. My employer is in New York and I am looking to move to CA. I've looked in to the prevailing wages in CA and my current salary meets the requirement. I had couple meetings with the immigration attorney and he told me that I can file an LCA for the new location and that should take care of it(He also suggested an amendment, but said that is not 'required') and my manager did not want to spend the extra money for the amendment and said that they will take care of it at the time of H1 renewal. So, in my situation, will filing an LCA suffice? My work location is still going to be New York in the company records and every thing else will remain the same. Please share your thoughts.
