R_Texas
Last week I had a successful H1-B stamping in Calgary. I work for a big US corporation and all my papers are as per the law. No grey areas etc. [Masters from US, direct employee, non- IT]. Two things for prospective fellow H1-B visa seekers: 1. I did not do anything from my side for PIMS verification. I guess it gets taken care of by USCIS or so. There was a few months lag since I got my H-1B approval notice and appeared in consulate for the visa interview. 2. Please carry a recent passport size photo [ It could be the same which you used for DS 160]. I was asked for it and fortunately I was carrying one. Otherwise, it would have been a short trip down the building to get one. Just bring all the other usual papers and you will be fine. Thanks, R Link to comment
