That's approx 2.5 months (inclusive final decision time and updating the status). They have not updated the dates since september 30th,2011. So no clue on how much time it takes, until someone posts when they applied and when they got approved. It would be helpful, if anyone can post in their applied date (specifically July,Aug, Sept) and when the application got approved. Link to comment

Regular H1B extension at Vermont center. Status - Initial Review (as on Jan 15 2012) Did anyone get the approval whose application was received in the month of Sep'11. Also, I've booked the tickets to travel to India for my wedding. Can anyone pls let me know if I can travel while the case is pending with USCIS. Thanks, Kumar K My Receipt is Aug 30th still initial review... thinking of converting to Premium after Jan 25th if i dont see approval before that date.... how many days left for your marriage date??? follow updates regularly and make a wise decision... I believe your category is different from mine as my application is an extension after 6 yrs based on I140. Congratulations and thanks for the post.
