visapp
I filed my GC under Employment based category. My EB2 Priority Date is 15th Jun 2007. It has become current as per October 2011 visa bulletin. However, I still see that the status of my 485 has not changed from 'Initial review'. Has anyone who's in the same boat got any approvals/updates related to your 485/GC processing? Please advise. Thank you. Link to comment
GCNE07
My EB2 PD is Apr 15th 2007 and for me also the status still shows as 'Initial review' Link to comment
amigo_rk
Just curious.... does it matter whether a case is EB2 or EB3 after you file I-485? Does it effect I-485 processing times? Link to comment
visapp
GCNE07, your PD has become current long back. Have you contacted your attorney or USCIS regarding the delay? Unless there is a query, I believe you should've got your GC by now! By the way, are you the primary applicant? amigo rk, as I am aware, your priority date needs to to be current until you get your GC even after filing 485. Link to comment
GCNE07
Thank you visapp. Appreciate the response. I am the primary applicant and will contact USCIS. regarding the delay. I initially thought of waiting till the month end. Link to comment
visapp
Sorry GCNE07. I just realized that though the EB2 cut off date for August and September visa bulletins was Apr 15th 2007, only the GCs with PDs prior to April 15th were eligible for approval from August. Considering this, your PD also became current in October visa bulletin only like mine. We both seem to be in the same boat :( Please update in case you see any changes in your application status. GCNE07
I will visapp. So i will wait for some time before contacting USCIS. Let me know if you too have any traction on your GC. Link to comment
