H1 extn. stamping in Chennai while I94 is still valid

Hi,

My I94 is valid for 2 more years but my visa expired last year. But I would like to know the possiblities of going to Chennai and get successful in re-stamping.

Are they still rejecting the candidates in visa stamping, while I94 is valid.

I work for an Indian company & not directly for the client in USA.

Your replies will help me in deciding whether to make this trip to India.
