ncthegreat000 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 I got a e-mail recently ( like last week ) from INS notifying that my I-485 is approved and my status is in card production.Now I haven't still got my Green Card ( probably will take 30 days or longer) but I will have to travel next week out of country for business and will be back in a week.I have a AP , so my question is can I use my AP to travel outside even though my green card is approved or should I not travel until I get my green card. Joe.F Posted July 20, 2011 Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 You can NOT use the AP anymore. Schedule an Infopass appointment and get an I-551 (GC) stamp in your passport, so that you can travel. Link to comment
