I need help in finding a good criminal lawyer, I have court appearance soon, please advise what option do I have and if this would be a issues for my citizenship, I am on a greencard. t75
Call your local Bar Association for a referral. Yes, this will affect your citizenship application. Don't plan on filing any time soon. I hope you have a lot of spare money since you are going to be paying a lot to both criminal and immigration attorneys in the future. Link to comment
Joe.F
This could have an effect on your GC... Forget naturalization, think about the GC. Shoplifting is a CIMT. You need to discuss this with a good criminal lawyer AND a good immigration lawyer. Link to comment
