The cut off date for EB2 India/China advanced to March 8, 2007 in the July Visa Bulletin!

does any one know approximate 485 approval times? how many months it may take

I have to add my wife to my GC, i know i have to add her before it gets approved, just wondering how quick i should move?

Mine is March 12th 2007 (EB2). Can I expect this will be current in August Bulletin?

You can prepare the I-485, and file on July 1. If you send it in earlier, it will get denied, since the PD would only be current from July 1.

July 7th you will see the email about your approval.

No. Only people with PDs BEFORE the cutoff date are current on July 1.

Unfortunately, cutoff dates are pretty strict -- if you are 8th march, you are not included in this bulletin.

BUT, the good news is that your application might still get reviewed and analyzed this month as we are seeing for many cases. Its just that they can't give you an approval when your date isn't current. If the dates advance, yours will be given in a flash.

Unfortunately people with the cut-off date are not included.

Here is what USCIS says in the bulletin:

Only applicants who have a priority date earlier than the cut-off date may be allotted a number
