Got the receipt number from DHS.GOV saying that they have received my H1B application on 19th Sep 2011 and processing the same. But I don't see any status at USCIS site for the same receipt number What should I do? Will it take some time to update in USCIS website? Do I need to call anyone? USCIS website shows the status as " Acceptance" for more than a week now. Also came to know that they do not update the site regularly. Do not worry since you already have the receipt. SSBV Posted October 8, 2011 Report Share Posted October 8, 2011 Hi, My employer has applied for H1B extension for me in California Service center and got receipt number TWO WEEKS back. If I am entering the receipt number I am getting the following error. Please let me know if any one facing the same issue. "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283." Please answer me!!! Link to comment
