H4 - New Delhi

Hi All

I've have had a L1 to H1 COS and I have not done my H1 Stamping Yet.

I need your experts inputs as my wife went for H4 Stamping @ New Delhi in June.

I Work in Employer and Direct Client Model. My Wife went with all my documents and the VO just asked her few questions and returned her passport back. The local folks gave her 214(b) flyer giving no reason.

After some to/fro communication with VFS, I got a reply from Consulate that her case is under 221(g) green slip. They sent a copy of green slip and they want her to come for re-interview with some more documents. like my client letter etc.

In the email it says "Come for re interview on any working day before 11 AM".

Can you all please tell me what is the process ? Do i need to submit a new DS-160 Form for this ? Or There is a special queue for 221(g) folks ?

The U.S. Embassy may have realized their error and hence requested her to come for another interview. It is important to make sure she carries all relevant documents / information for the visa interview. Unless specifically instructed, a new form may not be required, however, it is better to carry the confirmation sheet for the prior form DS-160.
