Question about Prevailing Wage and PERM Petition

The Prevailing Wage Determination that my employer obtained for my PERM petition is valid until 6/28.

The newspaper advertisements for the recruitment process will be published in May and the earliest date when the PERM can be applied would probably be 6/15. Although the Prevailing Wage Determination would probably be valid at the time of filing the PERM petition, it may not be valid till the time the the PERM petition is adjudicated. Would this be a problem?

Is it a requirement that the Prevailing Wage Determination be valid until the PERM is approved or it is sufficient if the PWD is valid at the time of filing and expires shortly thereafter? Please share your thoughts and experiences. Thank you very much.

The PWD needs to be valid at the time of filing the LC OR if the recruitment began within the validity period of the PWD, then you can file at any time during the validity period of that recuritment even if the PWD has expired.
