L2/I94 expiring--- I94 extension filed--- will current EAD hold valid

Hi All,

Looking for advise in my matter. Here's my situation:

I am working for company ABC on L1B Visa. My visa will be expiring in Aug'2011. However my I-94 is valid till Feb 2013.

My wife is On L2 Visa (expiration same Aug 2011) and her I94 is also expiring at the same date. My company has filed her I94 extension with USCIS which is subjected to go through. Currently she is having her EAD valid upto Jul 2012.

Questions:

1) As my wife is undergoing her I94 extension (current I94 subjected to expire in Aug 2011) will she be eligible to work on the same EAD once her I94 gets extended?

2) After the current EAD expires next year in jul2012 and assuming her I94 is extended further than that will she be eligible to file for EAD extension on behalf of extended I94.
