h1bdreamz
Hi All, visa appointments are open during the week [23,24,25,26] since 7 days and no one is booking any slots...this week. Can anyone suggest some basic or suggestive reasons why people are avoiding appointments that week. I opted for date 24 that week and i could observe no major bookings that week.I am visiting VFS site every day after i booked my slot on Aug 4. Link to comment

avasi36
@h1bdreamz I guess because of the current economic situation in the US, everyone is avoiding H1-B stamping appointments as it is very risky. However, it's gonna get really worse in next coupe of months. Therefore, attending your interview now should be atleast fine. Even I'm planning to attend the interview sometime next month. Keep us posted and best of luck. Abi Link to comment
h1bdreamz
24 is dasami [ a good day ] 25 is ekadasi [ good day] So this cannot be a valid reason for people to avoid visa dates. Avasi lines can be considerd as every one know that American economy is not in good state. This can be one good reason. And according to obama's statement, there can be an increase in tax, people will now think whether to pick USA or any other country in career and financial perspective. Anyhow hope for best and will move forward. Link to comment
