BhagathRaj
Hello members, I have an MS from US and have used up the 6 years time on H1b previously (ending in 2014). I was selected under the Masters Quota for the first time. Can a sponsor apply for an H1b this year for me again under the Masters Quota of 20k? I have come across information that If you have been counted against the Masters Cap once previously, you may not be eligible for the Quota again. However, I am unable to confirm this information anywhere on the USCIS website Can you please clarify if I qualify to apply under the Masters Quota, or I would be falling in the 65k general pool? JoeF
If your Master's degree is from a public or non-profit, accredited private university you qualify for the Masters quota. You always are eligible for it. There is no "one-time only" rule. Never has been. Quote Link to comment
