H11b Posted January 10, 2022 Report Share Posted January 10, 2022 The questions is regarding the H1 transfer. Is it possible to do a H1 transfer before entering the USA for the first time. H1b got stamped with the company A and now another company (say company B) is willing to transfer the H1 to them. Is it possible to transfer without entering into the USA. rksingh Posted January 12, 2022 Report Share Posted January 12, 2022 H1B is never "transferred"........a new employer simply files a new H1B application. If both get approved, then you have to decide which employer you want to start with and use that approval notice to apply for H1B Visa Stamp. If by chance you already have an unexpired H1B Visa stamp then you can travel to US and present the correct employer's H1B approval notice to work with them. There is no additional risk of another employer filing for a new H1B application. Quote Link to comment
