begood 0 Report post Posted January 10 A close relative is planning to visit the US and we did not sponsor their visa. They are visiting out of their own will. We are not involved in it at all. We do not have best of the relationship with the visitor. I am wondering if it is possible for the visitor to give our names in the forms and make us liable for things we did not sign up for. For example, if they fall sick and go to a hospital and give our name there as contacts. They are capable of doing it. How can we protect ourselves from liabilities? You might think I am overthinking but I have been in unforeseen trouble in the past due to them. Share this post Link to post
