Can L2 dependent work beyond current EAD expiry date with pending L2 extension visa & EAD Renewal

Recommended Posts

I am currently in L2  Visa with valid EAD both expiring on 12/10/2021(current I-94 end date). I have applied for my L2 extension in the month of august this year along with my L1 spouse My Spouse L1 Visa is already approved until next year but both my L2 visa extension and EAD renewal is still pending with USCIS. . With this valid approved L1 status of my spouse can i continue to work beyond current expiry date (As per 180 days auto extension new rule) when my L2 Visa (I539) is still pending with USCIS? IF not, then is there any other way for me to continue to work  based on valid L1 status of my spouse?

I don't think there is currently any provision allowing an L2 spouse to work after L2 I-94 expiration.
