H1B extension from INDIA visa not stamped yet never travel on H1

Hi There ,

I have valid H1B (Software Developer with different company) approved from 10/01/202 to 12/03/2021 which is not stamped on my passport and never travelled on it yet. I have Approved I-140 under L1A under EB1C category. Can my employer file extension from India to extend my H1B ?. Please advice properly. As, i m not getting interview slots in India for H1B stamping yet. Keep trying to get it before my H1 expired.
