HVG Posted September 18, 2021 Report Share Posted September 18, 2021 (edited) I am a US Citizen and am looking to apply for Immigration for my brother and his wife who are Indian Citizens. A few questions relating to this. (1) How long is the current process ? (2) During this period can my brother visit the US. (He has a tourist visa that is valid for 3 years only). Can he visit within this 3 year period after I submit I-130 (3) Can he visit US after his current tourist visa expires ? JoeF Posted September 20, 2021 Report Share Posted September 20, 2021 The Visa Bulletin shoes you how far the PD for Family Category 4 is backlogged. It will be 12+ years. Tourist visas dont allow immigration intent, so he risks getting denied entry and not getring a new visitor visa. Quote Link to comment
