Chowdarygm Posted September 1, 2021 Report Share Posted September 1, 2021 My wife had a workplace accident while working on H4 EAD and currently ongoing medical treatment and receiving weekly checks for loss of pay. The treatment may continue into another 3-4 months but her H4 EAD is expiring end of this October (extension is filed but won't be approved before current EAD expiry). Question is 1) Can she continue the workers comp claim to keep paying for her treatment ? 2) Can she continue receive the weekly checks? (this seems obvious that she can't but want to check) as she would have to terminate the employment before the H4 EAD expiry? Quote Link to comment
