sindch Posted August 17, 2021 Report Share Posted August 17, 2021 Dear Members, Effective August 17 2021, the consulate services in India have opened for limited limited appointment availability. What does this exactly mean? As a background we lived in USA for 12 years and moved back to India (left GC process after I-140 was approved). I am planning on applying a fresh B1/B2 application to visit USA to meet family and friends and at the same time to take children to the places we lived earlier since its about 2 years we left USA and now wanting to visit. Is this the right time to apply for a fresh visa and what are the chances of it getting approved ? All inputs are appreciated please.... Quote Link to comment
lovely Posted October 8, 2021 Report Share Posted October 8, 2021 Should be smooth, answer all questions w.r.t each application as well as include details of your previous stay, you may need to submit additional forms on why you intend to use B1 instead of your previous H1/L1 and why you left your I-140 etc. Quote Link to comment
