challatur Posted July 15, 2021 Report Share Posted July 15, 2021 Current position : I hold a valid H4 approval document with valid i94. I don't have visa stamped in my passport. Valid from: April-16-2021 to Oct-13-2022 Current Process : Recently my spouse had a job change (H1b Visa got approved and given up to October-21-2024), they have applied a corresponding H4 visa for me and its pending decision with USCIS. I have also got my receipt notice. Question : I hold an old H1 which is in revoked status. I am looking for job opportunities now. Can i go ahead and apply for H4 to H1b (reopening my previous H1b) with new company? . Please reply if anyone faced same situation Thanks, Girish Quote Link to comment
