I logged a case against my husband calling 911 for harassing me and my kid and i am left abandoned after that. My H4 is due for renewal and I have no documents. I am working on H4 EAD supporting myself and taking care of my daughter for the past 4 years. I cannot leave the country as I have threat from his parents back in India. I want to stay here along with my child. Can you let me know the options available. Will I be eligible for applying asylum status and I can continue to work? If you are in talking terms with ur husband still, you can request him to extend H4 for you so that you can take care of your children. there are not many options.i would recommend you to contact Murthy to know ur options more Quote Link to comment
