H1b - h4 - H1b (urgent)

Hi, 

Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to quit my job on h1b and switch to h4. Now after 2 months am planning to get a job with h4 pending. Will employers offer me a job ? ( my h1b is valid until 2023) . If I file for COS from h4 to h1b, will it be approved ?  What are my options ?

1. Consular processing  (risk of consulate closures due to Pandemic)

2. Risk filing COS and if approved retract h4 application 

 

Has anyone done either of this. Will appreciate any response.

You can choose option 2. Ask your employer attorney how to proceed.
