Query on H4 and H4 EAD for a future date from H1

Hello team,

 

I have a query on the below scenario.

 

I am currently on my H1-B visa and it is maxing out in June 2022. My wife is also on H1-B and she had I140 approved in January 2020.

 

I wanted to check for the option of my wife applying for me for H4 and H4 EAD together for a future date based  so that I would be having legal status to work without any break. Is there any clause on the future date which we can apply for?(Like a maximum number of days from current date to which we can apply for H4 and H4EAD like 6 months or so)
