vkb 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2021 H4 stamping Query - I had my H1b & dependent's H4 visa stamped with employer 1 till 30-Nov-2021. I later on changed my petition to employer 2, worked with them for some time and then joined back employer 1. Now my H1b transfer petition to employer 1 is approved though they didn't file H4 transfer as existing petition with employer2 is still pending with USCIS for approval (Biometrics is done). Me and dependents are planning to travel outside US, and returning back in July-2021. My query is can my dependent use the existing H4 visa stamped and my approved H1 petition to travel back into US, or do they need to appear for stamping at the consulate? Anything else that we should consider before returning back to US? Thanks so much for the response.. Best Regards, vkb Share this post Link to post
pontevecchio 12 Report post Posted March 31, 2021 All they need is the H4 visa and your H1 petition approval. The H4 status is based on your valid H1 status with any employer. Nothing to think about. Share this post Link to post
