DropBox for renewal of H4 visa for child Under 14 years

Hello All,

I needed some information on renewal of H4 visa for my child who is under 11 years. I am currently in USA on H1B and my H1 Petition is valid until next year. 

However my visa is expired in October 2020.

My husband and son are in India.   My son seems to be eligible for dropbox , however these statements in the dropbox document requirement are confusing.

Eligibility Criteria for Child below 14 years of age:

• I am applying before my 14th birthday.

Note:Children under 14 must submit a photocopy of both parent’s passport biographic information and valid U.S. visa page. 

 

I donot have valid visa stamping. Does that mean that my son cant apply for the dropbox? 

Please somebody help on this.

Were you successful with Drop box appointment for your kids?
