How soon can we apply B2 visitors visa for parents

I am on F1 OPT visa status and planning to get graduated in December 2021. I have booked visa slots for my parents and brother in my home country for May 2021 so that they can attend the graduation ceremony if visa gets approved.
 
Question 1 : As the graduation ceremony is in December 2021, will there be any questions raised stating that it is too early to apply for a visa in May?
 
Question 2 : Is there a minimum limit of amount to be shown in the bank accounts and on financial assets for a best case scenario visa approval?
