DB_CNS Posted February 16, 2021 Report Share Posted February 16, 2021 Hi All, I was working for a consulting company A who had filed for my H1b amendment to work for a different client. In the meanwhile I got a job offer from company B and they processed my H1b transfer on premium and the H1b transfer got approved. After that I joined company B and informed company A to withdraw existing H1b amendment petition. This was around 6 month back. In the meanwhile I checked the petition status of Company A in USCIS website and found that the petition is in RFE status from Dec 2020. After that I am trying to contact with my last employer A to know why the petition is not withdrawn but not getting any response. As I am no longer part of company A, there will not be any response to RFE. My question is does it affect anything in future during H1b extension with my current company or during I 140 process ? Also can I force my ex company to withdraw the petition legally ? Regards Deb Quote Link to comment
