sivaKGM Posted January 6, 2021 Report Share Posted January 6, 2021 Greetings , I'm in USA with H1B approval from 2019 October, previously on student VISA(expired) waiting for my new Stamping. Recently I'm able to book a regular appointment for this January 25. If I get my Visa stamping done can I travel back ? worrying about the travel ban extension upto March 31st does this stops to enter US in my case? Any help is appreciated. Quote Link to comment
newacct Posted January 7, 2021 Report Share Posted January 7, 2021 You only need a visa if you need to enter the US. Why do you need to leave the US? Since you were in the US on the effective date of the proclamation, it shouldn't apply to you. But it's unclear how the consulates are handling it. Quote Link to comment
