Degree Evaluation

Hi All,

I have Bachelor of Arts (3 years) and Master in Computer Applications (3 years) from India. I got filed my green card application under EB-2 category in 2012 and got approved PERM and I-140. I changed my job and joined a new employer.

New employer decided to file my green card application. New employer works with a private law firm. Law firm is saying - I am not eligible to file my green card application under EB-2 category. They are saying, we will file under EB-3. I disagree with that since I have my degree evaluation which is equivalent to BS in Computer Science per United  Stated. Law firm is disagreeing and saying have to go through EDGE. And they are afraid, my degree mayn't qualify for BS in Computer Science per United  Stated.

Is there any suggestion for me - how to convince this law firm to file under EB-2? Please advise.
