vaish56 Posted December 18, 2020 Report Share Posted December 18, 2020 Hi, I recently accepted an offer (contract role) via a staffing and consulting firm and they started H1 transfer process (premium) and wanted me to start for client on receipt notice. Now I have another offer from company B and a full time role. Company B has asked me for documents to initiate transfer process. I have provided them all documents including the case number of petition filed by consulting firm. Pay checks from consulting firm are yet to get generated and today their petition also got approved. i797 (of staffing firm) is yet to be received. Can company B file new petition with all prior details including staffing firm's receipt notice ? Since pay check has not been generated yet, I could not give them those yet. Should I wait for 1-2 pay checks and approval notice before initiating the transfer to company B ? I have shared every information with the legal team of company B but bit apprehend on the transfer.
