chewymccloud
Hi, I believe one of the responsibilities as a Permanent Resident is to carry proof of the status while traveling within USA. Instead of carrying the actual Green Card could a Global Entry card serve as a proxy for proof of Permanent Residence? I don't want to accidentally loose my Green Card when traveling and would rather carry the Global Entry card. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
A copy of the GC along with a global entry card may suffice. You may still be held up by a jobsworth and may spend a few unpleasant hours looking at the walls. Specially in the border areas. Just carry the GC with you. If you lose the GC, you can carry the receipt for the replacement. Quote Link to comment
