RanjitaP
Hi, Can I travel to Mexico or Canada for my H1B visa stamping without having to have a specific visa to travel to Mexico or Canada. What process do i need to follow? Thanks, Ranjita Quote Link to comment
lovely
Both Canada & Mexico have specific requirements for their visa and you need it prior to travel. Mexico is relatively easy depending on your nationality as they offer visa for 1-2weeks but I would recommend to check each of their consulate websites on your eligibility and documents required. 02112018
Currently borders are closed. If they are open you can travel to mexico and stay there for 3 days w/o visa. More than 3 days need a visa to mexico. Canada needs a visit to go. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Mexico do not do first time H visa stamping. No need for Mexico visa for 7 days if you have approved petition. I advise better take Mexico visa. Canada allows first time H stamping and need Canada visitor visa. Quote Link to comment
luck2u
Mexican Visa is required if your US visa is expired. But always, getting a Mexican visa is safe and is very simple process, Mexican Embassy/Consulates issue Mexican Tourist Visa for a period of 180 days with multiple entries and cannot attend for conversion visas.
