joberoi
Hello - I will be applying for the citizenship in next few weeks. Below are some of the involved steps Got 1-140 approved (employer A) in October 2009 Worked with employer A till March 2011 Joined employer B in April 2011 who started my green card process in April 2012. They ported over priority date that was printed on the approved I-140 from employer A Got my green card in May 2016 Do you think there any of the above is going to cause an issue during citizenship process? Thanks in advance for your inputs Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Looks pretty standard to me. Just make sure to send in the N-400 no more than 90 days before the 5th GC anniversary (not 3 months before, 90 days is a bit less.) Having a little buffer (like sending it 80 days before the 5th GC anniversary) eliminates all questions about the validity of the N-400. Quote Link to comment
joberoi
Thank you for the response. How long before the deadline should I contact Murthy Law Form so that n-400 can be filed in time? Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
You do not need a law firm to file your N-400. It is very straight forward. Quote Link to comment
