H1b Stamping done but not travelling

Hi All, 

Here is my case and need your inputs. 

I came to India 2 months back and got H1b stamped recently .Its validity is till 2022 Apr based on my petition. But,now due to project budget cut I may not be able to travel to same client. What will happen if USCIS send a query to client? Will it affect my stamping or create any issue if travel for any other client later.

After visa stamping I feel they will not inquire client. You need new H1B approval to comeback to USA. Since you already have visa stamping till April 2022 just carry that and new H1B approval.

Can you please tell us how you did the VISA stamping. I want to know if anyone recently got the H1B stamped through drop box

Thanks for your response.. is it possible to travel with receipt number after submitting for Amendment ?

Better to travel approval notice NOT with receipt number.
