Rajad
Hello, Hope you are doing great & really grateful for your service for Legal Non-Immigrants. I need your suggestion on H1B Stamping in India. I need to go to India because of a family emergency. Last time I went to India for an stamping interview. I got 221G Administrative processing and got a stamped visa after 2 months till July 9th 2019. 1) Because i got 221G in last stamping - am i still eligible for dropbox facility in india(less than 24 months). Is 221G a rejection? 2) I have a current I797 till April 2022 with my current employer(working in a new client location). I got a new full time offer & got an RFA & still yet to be resolved with a new employer. My joining date with the new company is Jan 15 2021. If I got to India before Dec for stamping(dropbox) - what will happen to my current petition with my new employer. Any inputs will be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
221G is not rejection. Start the process and it will show whether you are eligible for drop-box or not. what will happen to my current petition with my new employer. --- if you go to interview for this then this will be active. You can get visa stamped for this. After coming to USA you can move to new employer after their H1B is approved. Quote Link to comment
adshah84
You will not be eligible for Dropbox, i might be wrong. Also i would not suggest to go to India in your current situation. Quote Link to comment
