Had L2 EAD 2 years ago, now applying for H4 EAD. Is it renewal or new?

Hi,

My wife had L2 EAD two years ago which she did not use at all. Now she is applying for H4 EAD.

Could someone please help me with my questions,

1. Will this be new? or renewal? of EAD

2. Will she need the earlier EAD info? (she has lost the card and has no info in hand) 

3. If she needs it, then is there a way to retrieve that info?
