mdevm Posted October 17, 2020 Report Share Posted October 17, 2020 Hi, I am looking to leverage family based green card sponsorship process, my soon to be fiancee is a green card holder and I am on h1b visa. Upon looking at the visa bulletin, seems like priority date is current so I guess I130 and 485 can be filed together. However i came across that along with I765 filing, biometrics would also be required, is it true? How long would be the wait time approx? I am trying to understand if EAD would only be issued after getting biometrics done. Also if biometrics is mandatory, how long do we have to wait to get the appointment?
