It got stamping on the Visa in Jan 2019 and I-140 approved from my previous employer. I moved to a different company couple of weeks ago, and I plan to travel to India in the next 1-2 months. My new H1B visa (transferred to new company) is valid till Aug 2023. 1) Do I need to get stamping on my passport with the new Visa ? Will I be ok to travel with I-797 and previously valid visa? 2) Am I eligible for drop box, since the eligibility is if your previous stamp is less than 2 years. 3) If I plan to work from India for couple of months (2-3), what will be the implications ? Should I be paying tax in India or change my pay roll to India ? 4) What are the issues that I should be aware of when I travel to India? Thank you! Quote Link to comment
