Ram987 Posted October 15, 2020 Report Share Posted October 15, 2020 Hello , I have 52 days (1 Month 22 days) left to the max out period of 6 years on my H1b. I returned to India in June 2019 and am still working with the same company. Since I did not max out my H1B, can I initiate the GC / perm process while working from India and move to the US after I receive i140, so that I could file an extension immediately after moving back to the US ?
