Re-instate I-140 and downgrade Eb2 to Eb3 question

Could any one please take a look at the current situation of mine and please advise.

Currently working on a full-time job and GC process hasn’t started at the current job.

With Previous employer, I-140 has been approved in Eb2 category and priority date is current with Eb3 dates. But previous employer has revoked I-140. 

If previous employer has re-instated the I-140 and file for Eb2 to Eb3. And concurrently file I-485 application. 

Would like to know,

Is this an option I can pursue to take advantage of the current Eb3 dates which are in my favor before they move back ?

Please suggest.

Once revoked, the I-140 cannot be "reinstated". But the PD remains available for use with a future GC filing.
