I have got a job offer and the employer is willing to file H1B petition using my previous H1B. Due to mishap attorney has filed wrong start dates on H1B and as well as on LCA (instead of OCT 19th 2020 they mentioned it is Dec 7th 2020). My H1B petition is currently in premium processing. I have submitted H4 extension on Aug 12th 2020. Q1: How to correct the start dates of employment? Q2: for correction of start date, do the attorney need to file LCA again? Q3: If LCA and new H1B petition filed again, what would be my status if new H1B petition doesn't get approved within oct 22nd 2020? Q4: If nothing is done and my start date is Dec 7th 2020, then what would be my status from OCT 22nd to Dec 7th assuming my H4 petition will be pending? Quote Link to comment
