Sathish99 Posted September 21, 2020 Report Share Posted September 21, 2020 My son in L2 Visa is having a passport expiring on Oct 8th,2020. He got the visa stamp date and I-94 date till Jan 20, 2021. We have I-797 approval date till June 30th, 2021. His passport is renewed now. To extend his I-94, do we need to go out of the country and come back? Generally, we heard the I-94 expiry date is always equal to the passport expiry date, but in our case, we got some additional time. is that a mistake we need to fix? Quote Link to comment
