Indi92 Posted September 16, 2020 Report Share Posted September 16, 2020 Hi, I appreciate if anyone can help with status question: I485 filed using Date of filing date in August 2019 Final Action date not current yet! H1b renewal applied in Jan 2020 but awaiting decision on that since then. Received EAD (based on pending I485) in March 2020. Question: If I use Green Card EAD now for employment purposes I understand I will be giving up my H1b status therefore will future decision on pending H1 renewal application have any bearing on our status going forward if that application is rejected for any reason?
