Change of status F1 to H4

I am F1 student currently enrolled in fall semester. Due to personal reasons,  I  in process of changing my status from F1 to H4.  Scenario is as follows:

 

1. I am dropping my courses today i.e. Sep 14 and will be un-enrolling from school 

2. School registrar says that, it will be reported to USCIS on Sep 14 and may impact change of status to H4.

3. I have not submitted change of status form so far, I will be submitting it today i.e. Sep 14; USCIS will receive it on Sep 15 most likely.

 

My question are:

1. Can I de-enroll from class and lose F1 status when my H4 application has just been submitted  Or Do I have to complete the change of status and then only I can un-enroll from school.

2. If I proceed this, way, will I be out of status. If yes, how long: until my change of status application is in USCIS system or until change of status application has been processed.

4.  Is it going to create problems for me down the line.

I want know that if I drop from my courses right now then will it impact my Immigration status.
