ShivaRoy
So I am under a h1b visa transfer and the employer is asking me that I start on the Fedex receipt. He says because of COVID USCIS is generating receipt number within 2 or 3 weeks. I have it in written from him on an email that my case is delivered and I can start working. What should I do? Its been a week since my case has been delivered. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You need to wait for the USCIS receipt. FedEx receipt is never enough. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Normally they consider USCIS receipt number not Fedex... Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Your employer is right. Once your case is delivered, (he has proof of fed-ex) you can start working. Just for your information, when the check is cashed by USCIS, many times, the LIN#/WAC# is mentioned on the check copy many times ... so no worries even if the receipt reaches late. LeaveMessageH1B
Since you asked here you already know that it's not correct (read: not legal) and not the right thing to do. FedEx provides delivery services, does not grant any immigration benefits. Quote Link to comment
